The old saying "April Showers Bring May Flowers" has never been more true! We have had so much rain lately that I was beginning to think we wouldn't have to pay to have the pool filled this year! LOL! Lack of sunshine gets really depressing, so I was tickled to see that big yellow ball in the sky today! All that sunshine made me perk up and be extremely productive today. I think we are all looking forward to a fun-filled sunny weekend ahead!
Speaking of the weekend, a group of us publisher moms are heading to Louisville, Kentucky for training and fun! I am so excited to spend some time away with a group of women who have the same drive and ambition to bring to their communities all the fun kid-friendly activities that our areas offer. While we are in Louisville, the city is rolling out the red carpet for us! We are going to see the Mega Caverns, have brunch at Churchill Downs and check out some of the awesome restaurants that the city has to offer! Part of my productivity today was finishing our 2017 Summer Camp Guide! It's that time to start thinking ahead to what your child is going to do during their summer break. Macaroni Kid Winchester has compiled lots of options for your child so make sure that you check it out HERE and see what camps our area has to offer!
Also finished today is our 2017 Apple Blossom Festival Guide! Apple Blossom officially starts this Friday, April 28th and runs through the following Sunday, May 7th. I have compiled a listing of all the kid-friendly and family-friendly activities and events that will be happening throughout the week (and there's a lot!). So make sure you look it over HERE so that your mini Macaronis don't miss out on any of the fun!
