I haven’t even made it home from our yearly Macaroni Kid Meet Up (we are literally driving through New Jersey as I type) and I can’t get my thoughts down on “paper” fast enough. While my brain is overflowing with all of the inspiration and great ideas that came from spending three days with my awesome Macaroni sisters and our Macaroni Kid founders, I cannot wait to get moving on making Macaroni Kid Winchester even better than it already is!
I have to tell you that our Home Office pulls out all the stops for their publisher moms when we have any kind of get together and boy do they ever spoil us! Not only did we get awesome training, inspiration and “sister time”, they treated us to a relaxing stay at the Montauk Yacht Club, delicious food each day, gifts galore and one of several exciting excursions around Long Island and the town of Montauk. There are so many Fall, Halloween and Trick/Trunk or Treat events going on in our area that I have listed them all in one place to make it easier for you to find so your mini Macaronis won’t miss a single one! Make sure you check out our Spooktacular Happenings Guide for all of the local fun and check back often because I update it every time I find a new one to add!
High School Football Season is still in full swing so make sure you find out where your local team is playing each Friday so you can be there to cheer them on! You can find the schedule for all of the teams in Clarke, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren County right HERE.
Even though we haven’t made it through Halloween yet, I know some of you are already thinking ahead to Christmas. (Honestly, so am I!) When you’re doing your shopping this year, think local! I love that our community supports local small businesses and Macaroni Kid Winchester wants to help make that happen! This year, we are going to put together a Holiday Gift Guide, which will feature local small businesses. Do you have a small business you would like featured in our Holiday Gift Guide?
