What's New and Exciting at Macaroni Kid Winchester

By Amanda Chapman, Publisher of the Winchester Macaroni Kid November 16, 2017

Next week is Thanksgiving and things are about to start getting busy for all of our Macaroni families. This is all the more reason to rely on Macaroni Kid to help you find the activities you’re looking for to keep your kiddos entertained without the hassle of doing hours of research to find them! The most exciting events for the next month and a half are, of course, Santa Sightings! Santa really gets around and we have his itinerary listed for you in our Santa Sightings Guide. This guide is your one-stop listing of all the places and events Santa will be in our community this season. Our Santa Sightings Guide will also feature any and all holiday events and activities that are going on in our community as well. Make sure that you check our Santa Sightings often as we are always adding new events and activities as we find them.

Since we’re starting to think ahead to Christmas, there’s no time like the present to start your Christmas shopping (or if you’re like me, you’ve already got some of it done!)  When you’re doing your shopping this year, think local!  I love that our community supports local small businesses and Macaroni Kid Winchester wants to help make that happen!  This year, we are going to put together a Holiday Gift Guide, which will feature local small businesses.  Do you have a small business you would like featured in our Holiday Gift Guide?  Or do you know of a small business that you think would benefit from being listed?  EMAIL ME and let me know.  We also have an Independent Consultant Guide that is already put together and would be another great resource to utilize for your holiday shopping!  You can find links to all of our local consultants HERE.

Are you new to Macaroni Kid?  Make sure you check out our How to Use Macaroni Kid Guide and see how easy it is to navigate through all our website has to offer!  We want to make sure that you take advantage of everything Macaroni Kid has to offer to make your life easier and stress-free!

I try to keep our Event Calendar up to date with all of the latest events, but sometimes I miss one or two, so if you know of a kid-friendly or family-friendly event that’s coming up and you don’t see it on our calendar, you can submit it HERE or EMAIL ME with the info and I would be more than happy to add it to our Event Calendar.

Macaroni Kid Winchester wouldn’t be what it is without all of you, our Macaroni Kid families!  I just want to send you all a huge THANK YOU for your continued love and support!  I'm so glad you keep coming back every week to see what Macaroni Kid Winchester has to offer! I have a HUGE favor to ask of you! We want YOU to be active with YOUR Macaroni Kid! How do you do this? Here are a few ways!

1. Share Macaroni Kid Winchester with your friends! Ask your friends to subscribe!

2. Share events to Macaroni Kid Winchester! Know of an event that you don't see on the event calendar? Click on "Submit an Event" and fill out the quick and easy form, or send a message to the event coordinator of that event and have them submit it.

3. Nominate! Right now, Macaroni Kid Winchester is taking nominations for our local Parent With a Purpose! Do you know of a local parent who is making a difference in our community with their contribution? Send us an email and let us know who you think would be a great choice for our next Parent With a Purpose and why!

4. Support Your Macaroni Kid! Do you own a local business? Ask about advertising or sponsorship opportunities. All of our guides can be sponsored, which will get your name listed in the guide and in any posts attached to that guide. Also, we are always looking for sponsors for our Parent With a Purpose winners each month!

Those are just a few ways you can be a participant in your Macaroni Kid Community! If you have any questions, please email me HERE!

Wishing all of our Macaroni families a safe, fun and yummy holiday week!  Gobble, Gobble!

Macaroni Love and Hugs,

Amanda
