Pet of the Week- Clarke County

Meet Trinny

By Amanda Chapman, Publisher of the Winchester Macaroni Kid March 28, 2018

If you are looking for an active little puppy, we have just what you need. This little lady is 5 months old and a fireball!  She is VERY playful and should be supervised around small children just because she doesn't have any manners yet and likes to jump up on everybody. Her toenails are very sharp since she is still a puppy, so she could hurt someone without meaning to.  She needs a family that will work on her manners and with getting her energy level under control.

She is a gorgeous lab hound mix. She already weighs about 35-40 pounds and will get bigger. She does know sit but it takes a little bit for her to finally do it. She loves balls and will play by herself all day. She is a little grumpy around other dogs. So if you have other dogs at home and are interested in her, you will have to bring them in to meet her. She is not house trained yet and will need a lot of obedience training.

If Trinny sounds like to perfect match for you, come on in and meet her. She will need to be spayed by 6 months of age and her adoption fee is $25.00.  The Clarke County Animal Shelter is located at 225 Ramsburg Lane, Berryville, Virginia 22611.  (540) 955-5104.  Our hours are Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00am - 3:30 and Tuesday, Wednesday from 8:00am - 4:00pm
