Finally, warmer weather has decided to make an appearance and I, for one, am thrilled! With this warm-up comes lots of outdoor events in and around our community! The Apple Blossom Festival is right around the corner, Community Appreciation Day in Front Royal is coming up, the Kite Festival in Stephens City is only weeks away, there are two Touch A Truck events coming up, and most of our towns will be hosting an outdoor Summer Movie Series. These are just a few of the fun, free (or cheap), exciting events that are coming up in the near future. Make sure that you are checking the MACARONI KID CALENDAR regularly so you don’t miss out! The calendar is updated daily as we find events so there is always something new to do. If you know of a kid-friendly or family-friendly activity or event that is coming up and you don’t see it on our calendar, SUBMIT IT HERE and we will gladly add it so other parents and their kids can enjoy it too! We work hard finding the fun around town so you don’t have to! So let us help you entertain and exhaust those kiddos!
Keep an eye out for our Apple Blossom Guide to make an appearance again this year. There will be listings for all things Apple Blossom (kid and family-friendly, of course) and it will be located in our GUIDES section. Also be on the lookout for our Summer Camp Guide, which should arrive the first of May. This will help you keep the kids busy throughout the summer while they’re learning more about things that interest them.
