Hello everyone! My name is Lee Ann Gray. I’m a U.S. Army veteran, a full-time college student at CSU, a wife, a mother, and now a new local author. I am so proud of my first children’s book that I wrote with my daughter Khloe’ as my co-author. The title of my book is “It’s Hard Being Five”. This book was inspired by my daughter and some of the challenges she faced transitioning from Pre-K to Kindergarten while being a military child and having already transitioned enough in her life. I also included some tips for parents to help their child/children succeed in school. The children are our future and I am an advocate for helping them be the best that they can be! In my spare time, I am also a substitute teacher for Frederick County Public Schools. I hope that you guys will join Khloe’ and me at our first book signing on April 30th from 4 pm - 6 pm at the Winchester Book Gallery.
